Paul's Pancake Parlor

Still Old School Montana Original

Brooks Street breakfast room serving pancakes since 1963, open daily with breakfast and lunch all day.

Same Brooks Street breakfast habit since 1963. Eighteen pancake varieties and a room that still feels like a parlor.

This place is still going.

Paul’s sits on Brooks Street, the road a lot of Missoula uses when downtown is not the point. The restaurant’s site says it has been serving Missoula’s favorite breakfast since 1963 and stays open every day from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Breakfast and lunch run all day.

The draw is volume and familiarity: a long list of pancake varieties, plus lunch and dinner plates for people who did not come for syrup. City Lifestyle and other local writeups have traced the parlor to Paul Gjording’s opening in 1963. The room still reads like a family breakfast stop, not a brunch concept.

It belongs here because it never tried to become something else. If you are nearby, stop in and keep them busy.
