Community Guidelines

Old School Montana is for remembering the Montana people grew up with, and for pointing at what’s still here.

Send the specific thing. A corner, a cafeteria, a winter, a bar that kept the same stools. That’s the point.

What this isn’t for

• Hateful, harassing, or defamatory posts
• Personal attacks, or publishing someone’s private information
• Political rants
• Gatekeeping about who counts as Montana
• Advertising dressed up as a memory
• Photographs you don’t have permission to share

“Remember when this was…?” is welcome.

“Montana is ruined now” is not the assignment.

“Real Montanans know…” is not the assignment.

We read what comes in. If it doesn’t belong, it doesn’t go up. If a photo has a rights problem, it doesn’t go up.
