Murray Hotel
Downtown Livingston railroad hotel open since 1904, still renting rooms above Park Street.
Railroad hotel since 1904 in the middle of Livingston. Rooms, a lobby, and a town that still uses the block.
This place is still going.
The Murray Hotel’s own pages date the building to 1904 in the heart of downtown Livingston, when the railroad still defined the town’s week. Historic Montana notes it began as the Elite Hotel and took the Murray name after the Murray family ownership in the 1920s. The hotel still lists 25 rooms and suites at 201 West Park Street.
The lobby connects to dining and the Murray Bar. The hotel markets modern comfort inside a working historic shell rather than a gut rehab that erases the railroad bones.
Livingston changed. The Murray kept taking overnight guests. If you are nearby, stop in and keep them busy.
