Moose's Saloon
Kalispell saloon with sawdust floors since 1957, still pouring on North Main with pizza and a gift shop next door.
Sawdust, peanuts, and North Main since 1957. Moose Miller's remodel stuck, and the saloon kept the name.
This place is still going.
In 1957, Moose Miller took over his wife’s family business, then called the Corral Bar, according to the saloon’s history page. A quick remodel with friends produced sawdust floors and a new name: Moose’s Saloon. The same page says daughter Wallis carried the place forward after Moose died in 1999.
Kitchen hours run 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the bar 10 a.m. to 1 a.m., with the gift shop Moostly Moose’s next door at 179 North Main. Flathead Beacon’s 50-year look back in 2007 treated it as a Flathead fixture. It still reads that way on Main Street.
If you are nearby, stop in and keep them busy.
