Borrie's
Family-run Black Eagle supper club since 1938, still plating spaghetti, ravioli, and steak dinners.
Four generations on Smelter Avenue. Same sauce, hand-rolled ravioli, and a supper-club clock that still makes sense.
This place is still going.
Emilio “Borrie” Grasseschi opened Borrie’s in 1938. The restaurant’s about page says four generations of the family have kept it going, with a move in 1956 to the corner of 18th and Smelter Avenue in Black Eagle, where it still operates. Current owner Debbie Thomas, Borrie’s granddaughter, expanded the dining room in 1990.
The kitchen still runs decades-old recipes for spaghetti sauce, soup, and salad dressing, and hand-rolls thousands of ravioli a week, according to that same page. Staff longevity shows up in the story too: family and employees who have stayed for decades. Hours are dinner-focused, with Monday closed.
It is the supper club Great Falls and Black Eagle people still mean. If you are nearby, stop in and keep them busy.
