Duck Inn

Still Old School Montana Original

Hi-Line restaurant and casino in Havre with roots on the Billy's Meat Market site dating to 1932.

Hi-Line supper stop with 1932 roots. Steaks, shrimp, tap beer, and a First Street landmark east-enders still use.

This place is still going.

The Duck Inn’s own site says the restaurant and casino sit on the historic Billy’s Meat Market site on Havre’s east end, with origins dating to 1932. The room serves homemade soups, burgers, steaks, and shrimp in a casual setup, with a tavern pouring Montana taps and a casino attached.

Restaurant hours are listed Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Mondays. Great Falls Tribune’s older My Montana feature treated it as a Hi-Line dining landmark.

Havre does not have spare landmarks to lose. This one is still open. If you are nearby, stop in and keep them busy.
